Washington DC 08/18/2011
Back from Washington DC. It was a long trip but absolutely worth the time taken. We were able to meet with three groups representing Middle Eastern and North African countries to discuss our nuclear desalination process. I believe that we made a good impression as we have already seen follow up conversations. It should not be a suprize considering the interest coming out of that area in nuclear energy. Even though our literature is based on nuclear as a green energy source we were able to discuss a variety of options to include some technologies that we have been looking at for development. It is all about finding the product that best fits their needs. Frankly I am very excited about the opportunity and believe that we still have a lot a ground to cover. As soon as we have an official statement of interest we will release the names of the countries. Until that time, please follow our blog spot for continued updates. I have a feeling that we will be travelling back that direction soon. Commentsmike dav8s 10/01/2011 06:18:50 Question, How likely is the u.s. gov. to approve nuclear technology being installed in developing countries with unstable governments and weak security? would this not work against our national interests? Chad Walker 10/03/2011 08:34:16 Good question... Our initial contact will be to establish our role as a nuclear consultant. Working with both federal and international agencies we will establish the feasibility and acceptance of our technology within the nation and world community. Until all efforts are made to accommodate international (and U.S.) regulatory compliance we will not move forward. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
